Adapters

All ductile iron Male Adapters have gasket bell outlets designed to push on to IPS (iron pipe size) plastic pipe. The pipe end must be beveled and lubricated with gasket pipe lube before inserting into the gasket bell outlet. The vertical ears on the adapter are designed to attach joint restraint products. The horizontal ears on the adapter are designed to attach spigot end fittings such as SBR reducers or plugs. The inlet is MPT (male pipe thread) designed to thread into a (FPT) female pipe thread of the same size.

All ductile iron ACME Adapters are designed to create a ACME FPT (female pipe thread) when installed into a standard FPT (female pipe thread) outlet of the same size. The ACME outlet can be used with any ACME MPT (male pipe thread) type of products such as pre-manufactured swing joints. For more information please visit our website @ www.leemco.com.
